Timing Is Everything

Of course, you already know that you should have sexual intercourse during your most fertile time of the month—that is, around the time of your ovulation. But did you also know that some holistic practitioners suggest that a couple's most fertile time of day is between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.?

Medical research shows that the number and quality of sperm seem to peak in the late afternoon. In fact, some studies indicate that a man's sperm count may be up to 35 percent higher in the late afternoon when compared to the morning. Similar research concludes that women are most likely to ovulate between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Some people jokingly refer to this time as happy hour and recommend that couples leave work a little early to enjoy a baby-making tryst.
