Individual members work in private industry, government, and academia in more than 85 countries worldwide. They include analytical chemists, microbiologists and other biologists, biochemists, toxicologists, forensic scientists, and other scientists in laboratory, administrative, and management positions. To qualify, they must have an interest in the purpose and goals of the Association, have a degree in science, and be engaged (directly or indirectly) in analysis or analytical science in fields relevant to the purpose of AOAC INTERNATIONAL.
