Ultrasound Contrast Agent and Gene Delivery

Transfection with ultrasound and microbubbles has been reported as a powerful new tool in gene therapy. New experimental evidence suggests that these contrast agents can be used as exogenous cavitation nuclei for enhancement of drug and gene delivery [25].
