Prostate cancer is the second leading urological cancer after renal cell carcinoma associated with paraneoplas-tic syndromes. Paraneoplastic syndromes in association with prostate cancer are uncommon and include Cushing's syndrome, the inappropriate antidiuretic hormone syndrome, hypercalcemia, and hypophosphatemia (Table 14.3).
